Lights & battery
Connect to changeYour Peak has four light zones. Each gets its own slider here. Turn on Lantern to see changes as you slide.
How long the lantern stays on before the Peak turns it off.
Stopping below 100% can help the battery last longer. Puffco's app only offers 80%.
Safety guards
- Slide to fire. Heating starts only from a full slide, or a 0.8 s hold of Enter.
- Stop heat button stays on screen whenever the heater is on.
- Temperature clamp. Curves and profiles are limited to 400–620 °F and 120 s.
- Hot chamber check. Asks before starting above 480 °F.
- Live target throttling. Setpoint changes go out at most every 0.6 s, only when they move 2 °F or more, and only to the running session.
- Connection loss warning. If Bluetooth drops mid-session the app can't stop the heater, so it tells you to press the device button.
Independent project, not made or endorsed by Puffco. It uses the community-documented Bluetooth protocol, which a firmware update could change. Use at your own risk.
Voice commands · Siri & Bixby
one tap to confirm heatEach command is a link. Point a Siri Shortcut or a Bixby quick command at it. When the link opens, the app reconnects to your Peak Pro and asks for one tap before it heats. Stop runs right away when the device is already connected.
iPhone · Siri
- Open the Shortcuts app and tap +.
- Add the Open URLs action and paste a command link.
- Name the shortcut what you'll say, like "Heat my Peak".
- Say "Hey Siri, heat my Peak".
Catch: iPhone opens links in Safari, which has no Bluetooth, and Bluefy can't be opened from a link. On iPhone, Siri gets the page open but you'll still finish in Bluefy.
Samsung · Bixby
- Open Bixby, then Quick commands, and tap +.
- Type the phrase you'll say, like "Heat my Peak".
- For the action, type Open followed by the command link.
- Say "Hi Bixby, heat my Peak". It opens in your default browser (Samsung Internet or Chrome both have Bluetooth).
Bixby can stumble on long links with dashes. A short web address works best; Modes and Routines can also open a link if quick commands won't.
